The mission of Bethlehem Lutheran Church is to Discover, Celebrate, and Share the love of Jesus Christ...
What our mission means to us: Our heads our hearts and our hands are engaged in faith. It is a journey that is inward, upward and, outward in direction.
"As you go into all the world, proclaim the good news to the whole creation" Mark 16:4
We want to help people explore their questions of faith and life in a non-judgmental and culturally friendly atmosphere. We accept people where they are in their faith journey and help them to discover a relationship with God through prayer, bible study, worship, teaching, service and stewardship. We do this by first reaching out to people in ways that meet their spiritual and physical needs.
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength." Mark 12:30
We seek to create worship experiences that are joyful and relevant and that use a variety of music and instruments. We experience God's presence in Word and Sacrament, the fellowship of believers and spiritual presence of the Holy Spirit. We strive to create worship experiences that engage all the senses in meaningful and transcendent ways. We seek to foster genuine community among the members and friends of Bethlehem through fun events and small group ministries.
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Mark 12:31
We respond to the needs in our community and beyond through ministry and service. This is particularly true of our ministry with the poor and those who suffer. We help people find their highest calling in life and equip them to serve in meaningful and purposeful ways. We will look for opportunities for service that meet the interests and skills of our seekers and members.
